About Lava Studios > Bryan Anderton

Bryan, the co-founder of Lava Studios, is a veteran audio engineer and producer as well as a very talented musician and songwriter.  With over 25 years of professional music and engineering experience, Bryan is no stranger to the stage or studio. He’s produced, engineered, and performed on hundreds of commercial releases and projects. Bryan heads up Lava’s audio business and oversees audio and music production for clients such as Whole Foods Markets, University of Texas, State of Texas, and Activision and has also worked with top recording artists including Joe Ely, Ivan Neville, 25 Smokin Figurados, The Flatlanders, Fastball and many others.

Prior to Lava Studios, Bryan owned and operated The Living Room Studios for several years, where he specialized in original music production, audio editing and sound restoration.  Bryan has been known in the Austin area as a top recording engineer/producer and live sound specialist for many years.

Bryan graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas.
