Dan spent twenty years in sales and marketing for various financial firms in Austin and Dallas before joining Lava Studios. His ability to build and maintain trusted relationships has been the common key to his success.  Dan leverages his 20+ years of high level business relationships and leadership experience in his role as the leader of new business development and strategy for Lava Studios.  In addition to fostering the growth of the company, Dan is very focused on helping our clients achieve their desired business outcomes by working with us.

Dan sits on the Board of Directors for the First Lockhart National Bank and the West Austin Youth Association.  For three years he has served as Chair and Co-Chair for the Corporate Battle of Bands to benefit the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, and event he helped create.

Prior to Lava, Dan managed the Austin office for Comerica’s Wealth and Institutional Management Division.  As a licensed CFP and securities broker, he advised his high net worth clients on investment management, estate planning, and debt financing.  From 1998 to 2006, Dan was a Senior Vice President with Silicon Valley Bank, delivering venture debt and cash management solutions to emerging technology and life science companies.

Dan graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance.
